Lafayette FFA boasts vice-presidential candidate

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Wednesday, April 24, Chad Lyons, the advisor for the Lafayette High School chapter of Future Farmers of America (FFA), announced that their Chapter President, Delaney Deadwyler, had been nominated to run for the 2024-25 Florida FFA Area II State Vice-President. Since the announcement, Deadwyler has been avidly campaigning for the position. On Tuesday, June 11, at the FFA state convention, she will give a speech promoting her campaign. Furthermore, she will answer questions during a delegate business meeting. The Area II delegates will vote for the candidates on Thursday, June 13, and the winner will be announced the following day.
