Broken-hearted drunk driver arrested

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Saturday, May 25, Suwannee County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) Deputy Michael Recca was patrolling when he noticed a gray pickup truck that was parked diagonally across the median on Interstate 10. He approached the vehicle to inspect and offer assistance if it was needed. Recca discovered a 51-year-old man from Punta Gorda named Roland Daniel Fedrick. According to the SCSO report, Fedrick explained to the deputy that he had an altercation with his girlfriend and had left in his car. Recca took a closer look at Fedrick, observing slurred speech, glassy eyes, the smell of alcohol and even the fact that Fedrick had his shirt on backwards. R
