Hamilton Elementary Christian club disbanded

Kenzie James reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com Hamilton County Elementary School disbanded the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) club last month that was formed at the school earlier in the semester. The North Central Florida FCA branch announced the new huddle on its Facebook page, on Jan. 27, 2024. The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) requested an investigation into the huddle on March 29, declaring it unconstitutional, and asked for the club to be disbanded if it was in existence. The huddle was disbanded at the end of April. Samantha Lawrence, legal fellow for Anne Nicol Gaylor, representing the FFRF, contacted Hamilton Superintendent Lee Wetherington-Zamora on March 29,
