Suwannee County initiates debris cleanup after storms

In response, the Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners and the Suwannee County Division of Emergency Management have established debris cleanup processes and teams. From Tuesday, May 28, through Friday, June 7, crews will collect vegetative waste from public right-of-ways on county-maintained roads. During this 11-day period, the crews will work across the county to gather and remove debris. Residents are advised not to pile debris too close to roads or streets to avoid creating traffic hazards.
