According to a report from Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a 2002 Buick driven by a 65-year-old man from Brewton, Ala., was traveling east on State Road 136 and approaching the intersection at US Highway 41. At the same time, a second vehicle, a 2012 Ford driven by an individual from Gulfport, Miss., was traveling north on US Highway 41, also approaching the intersection.
