The new Live Oak location, 6670 US “Opening our first store in Live Oak is a great way for T-Mobile to build better relationships with our customers in this area,” said John Stevens, Vice President for T-Mobile’s Small Markets & Rural Areas. “The move to increase our retail presence in smaller and more rural communities like Live Oak goes way beyond enhancing wireless connectivity. It also gives us an invaluable opportunity to provide in-person information and training on T-Mobile products and services, and it helps us establish closer connections and contribute to the local economy.”
One of the ways T-Mobile is contributing to the growth and development of small and rural towns is through the T-Mobile Hometown Grants program. The program provides funding to small towns each year to use towards city beautification projects, public improvements and more. Since launching the five-year program in 2021, five Florida towns — Arcadia, Fort Pierce, Lake Placid, Lake Wales and Quincy — have received grants totaling nearly $250,000. Towns with populations less than 50,000 are eligible, and encouraged to apply. For full details, visit www.t-mobile.com/brand/hometown-grants. Hwy 129, Ste. 1, is part of T-Mobile’s efforts to expand its retail footprint with the addition of new stores in small towns and rural communities across the country.
