Eric Musgrove Contributor Several years ago, my friend Shirley Clark from Branford stopped by my office. Knowing of my love of history, she brought a booklet published decades ago by a Lafayette County reporter named Holmes Milton. This booklet was full of the author’s newspaper articles describing area history, and she graciously allowed me to copy some of its pages.
