Live Oak chef wins grand prize in The Biskies Recipe Contest

On Friday, May 17, General Mills Foodservice declared Dixie Grill chef Rebecca Thomas to be the recipient of the $20,000 grand prize in The Biskies™ Recipe Contest. Thomas clinched the top spot with her recipe for Strawberry Cream Biscuit Bites, emerging as one of four finalists from across the nation after a public vote on the General Mills website.
The Biskies Recipe Contest provided an opportunity for chefs, restaurant owners and employees to vie for rewards of up to $20,000 by crafting unique biscuit creations utilizing any baked or unbaked Pillsbury biscuit product along with at least two additional ingredients. In addition to th
