LOPD investigates fatal shooting

Live Oak Police Department  Contributor  The Live Oak Police Department (LOPD) is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, May 13, and resulted in one fatality.  On Monday, at approximately 12:22 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of 9th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered one adult victim deceased from apparent gunshot wounds in front 802 9th St.  The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
