Bulldogs host last inning for baseball season

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Tuesday, April 30, the Suwannee High School baseball team hosted the Baker County Wildcats for the District semifinals. For the first two innings, the competition was tight, as neither team was able to send a runner across home plate. In the third inning, however, the Wildcats scored two runs, then another one in the fourth inning. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, this trend continued, with the Wildcats scoring another four runs in the sixth inning. The Bulldogs were finally able to respond with two runs in the seventh inning, but it was too late. The Bulldogs' season came to a close after they lost the game, 7-2. Noah Lopez (#8) and
