Cowgirls recognize Trojan seniors

On Friday, April 12, the Hamilton County High School Trojans varsity softball team traveled to Madison to face the Cowgirls of Madison County High School. It was a close contest that saw the Trojans build a two-run lead in the fifth inning before the Cowgirls struck with a double with loaded bases to take the lead. The Cowgirls held on to win the contest, 6-5.
Emily Peacock had the hot bat for the Trojans, going two-for-three at the plate. Bailey Driggers went two-for-four in the batter’s box, with two runs batted in. Anna Morgan also contributed a hit for the Trojans.
