Second and fourth graders compete in LES Science Fair

Lafayette Elementary School (LES) students in grades two and four participated in the school's annual Science Fair on Thursday, April 18. Beginning in January, students began formulating project ideas, asking testable questions, designing and conducting experiments, examining results and documenting their findings in areas of life science, Earth science and physical science. Winners received Walmart gift cards, which were provided through generous donations from the community.
Second-grade winners in the life/Earth science category were: Charlie Walker, honorable mention; Ellery Dykes, third place; Jade Pinacho, second place and Eva Knauss
