Riverbend’s Blackberry Festival is almost here

The festival, originally hosted by the Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce, has moved into the hands of your local paper. This year, the festival will be held on Saturday, June 22, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be a plethora of vendors providing food, drinks and crafts. There will also be a Miss Blackberry Photogenic Contest. Those interested in participating in the contest can enter by dropping off a 5x7 photo at Riverbend News' office by Friday, June 7. Age categories include: 11-months-old and younger; 12 to 23-months old; 2 to 3
