On Tuesday, April 16, the Hamilton County Trojans' softball team faced off against the Leon County Lions. However, the more important part of the night was the celebration of the seniors before the game had even started. De'Nyla Cherry, Emily Peacock, Bailey Driggers, Anna Morgan and Sarah Welch were all given the chance to walk with their families to the center of the field and speak about their future plans. After giving them this well deserved honor, the game commenced. The Trojans went on to win the game 7-1, starting a three game winning streak. The next Hamilton County Trojans softball game will be at home on Thursday, April 25, starting at 7 p.m.
