Uniting souls, one pew at a time Friendship Baptist Church to hold 152nd Homecoming

This pew, made of wood and nailed together in a simple way, is old and worn. Although it was removed from the Friendship Baptist Church sanctuary in the 50s, it continues to hold the memories of congregants come and gone.
Pews have a unique purpose and a way of uniting individuals through the best and worst of times, be it a wedding, a funeral or a Christmas play. Amidst these life moments, friends, relatives, congregants and visitors take a seat side-by-side on a pew in the Lord's house. They worship Him, seek strength, give Him praise and, at times, shed tears on that pew. Whether it is an old wooden pew or a new modern one, the Lord has saved a spot for you
