Local law enforcement raise awareness for child abuse

The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office (SCSO), Live Oak Police Department (LOPD) and Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) have all joined together with the University of Florida Child Advocacy Center for child abuse awareness month. The three law enforcement agencies have all been provided with blue badges to wear throughout the entire month of April.
“We believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, free from harm and abuse,” the SCSO said in a Facebook post.
“Together, we can make a difference and create a safer environment for all children,” LOPD said.
